Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to advisory services offered by Redwood Path Advisory, including the Business Model Refinement Audit, Revenue Structure Review, and Niche Positioning Workshop. It does not apply to third-party services we may recommend.

Deposits

A 40% deposit is required to confirm your engagement start date. The deposit secures advisor time and preparation slots on our calendar.

Cancellation by client

More than 14 days before the scheduled start: Full deposit refund minus a TWD 500 administrative fee, or transfer of the deposit to a rescheduled date within six months.

7 to 14 days before start: 50% of the deposit is refundable; the remainder covers reserved advisor time.

Fewer than 7 days before start: Deposit is non-refundable. You may reschedule once within three months subject to availability, with a TWD 1,000 rescheduling fee.

Rescheduling

One free reschedule is permitted if requested at least 7 days before the original session date. Additional reschedules incur a TWD 1,000 fee each. Workshops rescheduled fewer than 48 hours before the session forfeit 50% of the workshop fee.

Cancellation by Redwood Path Advisory

If we cancel an engagement due to advisor illness or unforeseen circumstances, you receive a full refund of amounts paid or the option to reschedule at no extra charge.

Refunds after work has started

Once discovery sessions are completed and document analysis has begun, the deposit is non-refundable. If you terminate an audit mid-engagement, fees for completed phases (discovery and any delivered drafts) are retained; any undelivered portion may be refunded at our discretion.

Deliverable dissatisfaction

If you believe the final report or workshop materials do not match the agreed scope in your engagement letter, notify us within 14 days of delivery. We will review the concern and, where scope was not met, offer a revision session or partial refund proportional to unmet deliverables. Dissatisfaction with recommendations you choose not to implement does not qualify for refund.

Non-refundable items

• Deposits for engagements cancelled within 7 days of start
• Rush scheduling fees, if applicable
• Travel expenses already incurred for on-site visits outside Greater Taichung
• Materials purchased specifically for your workshop

No-shows

Failure to attend a scheduled session without 24 hours’ notice is treated as a completed session. No refund is issued for missed appointments.

Refund method and timing

Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method (bank transfer) within 14 business days. You are responsible for any bank fees charged by your institution.

Workshop and group sessions

For workshops with multiple participants from one business, cancellation terms apply to the booking as a whole. Partial attendance does not reduce the fee unless agreed in writing beforehand.
